Preparation and Safety

A rich, smooth, chewy traditional caramel. Ideal for layering, filling and topping all your cakes and bakes such as banoffee pie, millionaire’s slice, flapjack and brownies.

Can also be used for dipping, drizzling and for the centre of hidden cupcakes, when thinned down with milk for a looser consistency.

 

Cooking instructions: Hob

Boil pan of water, empty the contents of the Baking Caramel into a glass or heatproof bowl, place on top of pan of water and stir the caramel until it starts to soften and becomes warm and spreadable. Be careful not to overheat.

 

Cooking instructions: Microwave

Microwave instructions: 800W / 900W 1.Remove the lid and rest on top of the pot. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, then gently stir. 2.Heat for a further 10 seconds and stir. If necessary, heat for an additional 10 seconds, and stir. Caution: Be careful not to overheat
